Effective Thinking 2.1.a

I think thinking effectively means that you do/think something to help someone or something and you do it. For example, whenever my mom is talking on the phone and she wants to get away from us, I think I should try and help her and I try and get my brothers as far away as possible from her as I can. Even though my brothers don't cooperate with me, I still try. That is an example of me thinking effectively. An example of me NOT thinking effectively is when I talk when my parents are talking and I know I'm not supposed to be talking, and I continue talking. I try to think effectively and sometimes I realize that my idea might not work out for everyone. Even though you may think its a good idea, it may or may not be.

  1. You gave two examples. But I'm not sure those are examples of effective thinking as much as they are examples of when you've demonstrated empathetic behavior or not.

We've been stressing the importance of 'thought" in everything that we do. I'm adding a link about effective thinking. By reading though it you should bet a better understanding of what effective thinking means.
