Barbie Doll

I think this poem is supposed to send a message to girls about opinions. Barbie was confident in herself and that's what made her beautiful. People were jealous of her and they wanted her to feel bad about herself. Everyone has their weaknesses, and barbies was people telling her she was ugly and dumb. That broke her down into a million pieces and she started to believe what people said to her and she tried to make herself perfect, she apologized to everyone because of her "ugly-ness" and she killed herself, trying to make herself perfect.

Compare: We both are strong, pretty, and confident with nice families and friends.
Contrast: Barbie seemed to have her life good. She probably had a lot of friends and she got whatever she wanted. She always seemed to be happy, but i didn't have a perfect live, i always seem to be happy, but I'm really always sad. I have only 2 friends and i don't usually get what i want.
